Nelg, Michelle and I took a little vacation up the Sunshine Coast.

At first we were planning on roughing it, but given the weather and our decision to just plain relax, we ended up staying at a fully decked out 'luxury' cabin. We had a great time and recommend the Creekside Cottage (owned by the Bed & Breakfast: Tuwanek Hotel & Spa), just outside of Sechelt. It was close enough to town to be convenient, but right on the edge of the road limits (provincial park boundary) to feel away from the crowds (not entirely secluded though). The cabin was just as advertised, including the hot tub by the creek and as you can see here, a great view to the inlet.

I took a few snapshots, but as usual I'm no photographer (you're lucky if I hold the camera straight). I'll add Michelle's photos to the collection shortly.

The weather turned out pretty good, sun and light showers that turned out to be a great mix for walking up trails, relaxing in the hot tub, etc.. We didn't end up fishing, but it's likely if we return next year.
