I was very sad to hear that Patrick McGoohan died this week. The Prisoner, although quite dated now, was one of the most groundbreaking, inventive and all around amazing TV shows of all time. He didn't just act in The Prisoner, he created and produced the unique series.

McGoohan was also phenomenal in his appearances on Columbo, he had an obvious chemistry on-screen together with Peter Falk. And of course he was Danger Man, the super spy which predated the Bond films by two years. I think the first thing I'd seen him in was Scanners, his voice and presence were mesmerizing.

Brilliant, brilliant man.
