JavaScript Fix
I -think- I have fixed all of the page reloading problems, allowing some JavaScript-capable browsers to have just the cam image reload instead of the entire page. If you experience any JavaScript errors, please let me know (e-mail rog@idmail.com) which browser (version, OS, etc.) you are using and I will try to accommodate.
Amira finally got her Cassiopeia E-100... that makes for a total of three WinCE machines in the house. Casio might be releasing their digital camera add on for the E-100 in North America (it is currently available in Japan), if they do that I may have a "roaming Rog-Cam" via digital cell-phone modem. Are we geeks or what?
Site Update
As you can see, the Rog-Cam site has had a major overhaul/facelift. I think everyone was really tired of that green gradient. It's much brighter now, and then some. Already someone has mentioned that I'm using "Pac-Man" colours. Hmm, that wasn't quite intentional, but it might have been in my subconscious.
This site has been tested on a variety of browsers, including WebTV, Dreamcast and even PalmPC (Windows CE) browsers. Please let me know via e-mail (rog@idmail.com) if it does not appear to display correctly in your browser.
My Brain hurts
Blah blah, blah blah blah blah, blah blah. But seriously folks, my brain hurts. Can't think of what to write today. Methinks me been werkin' too hard.
BTW, I nuked the "calendar" section. I was horrible at updating it anyway.
Less than perfect spelling
Sometimes my spelling is just horrid. That's pretty lame for someone who considers his primary occupation is as a "writer". Take the word acquiescence for instance. I love this word. As far as I'm concerned, there is no other word in the English language that appropriately captures the concept of acceptance, acknowledgement & defeat all rolled into one. And yet, I still tend to spell it as aquisence, aqiuescense or some other obviously wrong combination of letters.
"Live" again
And viola! The Rog-Cam is "live" once more. Speaking of things returning... It looks like I may be getting back into the streaming audio ala "Internet Radio" again. Although this time around, it will be a commercial venture via the Electric Playground. It won't likely be as eclectic or as much fun as Rog-Radio was, but at least I'll get paid for my efforts. I hope it does well, but whether it does or it doesn't there is still a possibility that Rog-Radio might yet return. That possibility is based on the RIAA and my time schedule (which at this point I would really like to free up some time for more creative writing pursuits).
Summertime Blues
Summertime. Downtime Uptime... Okay, here's the scoop. I've been bouncing around, in and out of the house and the webcam has gotten neglected these past 3 weeks. On top of that, I had a bit of a hardware crash that has left me without my USB Hub. Since the Rog-Cam normally plugs into that hub, the camera is logically not on right now.
Rest assured, "live" images will appear once more at some point.
